Già. Non mi è mai interessata molto, nè la trovo romanzesca, credo sia più interessante la parte della sua vita in cui si contende Seymour con Elisabetta xD

Mentre su Maria leggerei qualcosa, ma questo libro non mi ispira, credo proprio che prenderò la biografia...

io ho visto il sito della Gregory e ha fatto tanti bei libri che qui non sono stati tradotti..anche il titolo del libro "L eredità della regina" l hanno tradotto male! ma quale eredità! dovevano tradurre esattamente l'eredità dei Bolena!!

io della Parr non conosco veramente molto ed è per questo che mi piacerebbe leggere un libro su di lei


naturalmente per quanto riguarda maria di scozia penso che anche questo libro sia romanzato al massimo da far sembrare elizabeth come una strega e maria super passionevole

Più che altro l'autrice sta rischiando grosso per ripetitività. Sia in un solo libro, sia nei libri che parlano delo stesso argomento (tipo Il Giullare della Regina e L'Amante bla bla. Sempre giù a dire che Elisabetta è iperseducente... Ma dove? E che il desiderio vola di qua e di là, e che Dudley è arrapantissimo... Ok, ma dirlo una volta, due e poi basta no?), senza contare che ad un certo punto a parlare sempre di mogli/figlie di Enrico VIII si capisce benissimo che ci stai marciando.
Fossi stata in lei, avrei scritto un libro su Mary e Suffolk. In Inghilterra li adorano, e non sono un argomento usurato come le sei mogli e Elisabetta vs Maria.

immagino che scrivera' qualcosa anche sulla figlia di Caterina e aragona... poi sul figlio maschio di Enrico, sulla amica bessy di elizabeth.. insomma si e' fissata su quel periodo.. finché la gente compra i suoi libri lei scivera'

Ne compro uno solo se lo scrive su Lettice Knollys, mi sta troppo simpatica <3

io comprerei quello sulle damigelle....gossip e segreti che passione XD

Se leggi L'Amante della Regina Vergine c'è Lettice che in fondo è una damigella di compagnia, e viene usata da Cecil come spia in giro per la corte... E' adorabile e sottilmente perfida....**

l ho letto quel libro e nn m è piaciuto!

Rispetto all'Altra Donna è un bel po' deludente...
